Auto-fill tag text feature on text input area under status of filtering tag.

Hi everyone,
I would like to add the feature that auto-filling tag text on text input while the status of filtering tag like as the status of filtering date.

status of filtering date:

1. press any date filter
2. send new memo
3. it is listed up as like 1.'s day

status of filtering tag:

1. press any tag filter
2. send new memo
3. it is listed up without tag, but I want to list up it like as memo with tag.

I agree that the underlying need is valid: when a memo is created while a tag filter is active, it won’t appear in the current view unless it includes that tag.

The main unresolved question is where and how the tag should be inserted. Automatically modifying the memo content could be surprising, so we haven’t implemented this behavior by default.

I don’t have a good interaction design for this yet. Suggestions are welcome.

In the past I used to use Discord channels to organize my notes into categories, and I think memos would be a good replacement if this feature was implemented.

I think an option to enable prepending a tag whenever you click on a tag filter would work, so if I had:

line 1
line 2

then I clicked on tag #foo in the sidebar, it would turn my memo into

#foo
line 1
line 2

so it would automatically be written to the tag/"channel". If there was a singular tag on a line, it would make sense for it to be replaced when I click on another tag, so I could move the memo around.

Furthermore, with the option on, a memo started while filtering by the tag would have the #foo tag as the first line, instead of an empty text box, so the memo is easier to draft into a tag/"channel".

I agree above solution.
I suppose there are 2 options (or it may be good that putting the setting item)

• A: Insert tag text at beginning of memo editor (@xiej2520 's option)
• B: Insert and send memo text with tag text at ending automatically. tag text as like #tag_text is not displayed from editor but a user can see tag filter badge so a user can recognize current state is a state that a user can send memo with tag text.

I'll try make this feature prototype soon.
