Scope and goals

Problem

The framework doesn't yet support data types introduced in 19c/21c/23ai, or mixed-case/special-character names in test procedures and packages.

Proposed direction

• Add support for new data types available in 19c, 21c, and 23ai.
• Support mixed case and special characters in test procedure/package names - case-sensitive match first, case-insensitive as fallback.

Independent of

Phase 0 architecture work - can proceed in parallel on a separate track.

Tracking

• Add support for BOOLEAN, JSON, VECTOR data types introduced in Oracle Database 23ai utPLSQL#1344
• Case sensitive names utPLSQL#1327
