Question

Just checking is there is a VS Code extension for utPLSQL these days?

I'm led to believe that SQL Developer is going to be deprecated in favour of longer terms support for the SQL Developer extension in VS Code (though I've not been able to confirm this).

I couldn't find anything suitable available on the Visual Studio Marketplace

This was asked some time ago under utPLSQL/utPLSQL#1351 . There was nothing available at this time.

Thanks for raising this question.
I'll start by moving it to the Org level and then we will continue from there.
I also see that the templates need some updates and rethinking. They try to enforce a structure that may be too limiting.

I had a chat with @PhilippSalvisberg some time ago. Back then he was mentioning that he has a vision for this to be implemented but nothing was done in that regard so far.

In the meantime, I had a search on linkedIn and I found that someone has published some form of integration on the marketplace.

That extensions seems o be a wrapper around utPLSQL-cli. The description is in Portugese.
