Wanted to share this app that I found on F-droid, because I think it's particularly useful when paired with Orgzly.

Kboard

It's an android "keyboard" that you can temporarily enable to let you insert from a collection of templates. And you can define templates yourself. For example, I use the following templates...

For inserting a LOGBOOK drawer.

/LOGBOOK!iraw(:LOGBOOK:),utf(\u000a\u000a),iraw(:END:),6j

For inserting a UUID for a new ID property. (I think this one was included with the app, but I might have modified it, not sure.)

/UUID!curl(https://www.uuidtools.com/api/generate/v1/count/1),2d,^,2k,2d

For adding an ID link when the UUID of the target note is already in the clipboard.

/ID-LINK!iraw([[id:),pc,iraw(][]]),2j

For adding some other type of link, when the complete URL is in the clipboard.

/LINK!iraw([[),pc,iraw(][]]),2j
