• Safe Unicode Cypher syntax normalization:
  • expanded Cypher ingress normalization beyond Unicode arrows to safely normalize syntax confusables including dash variants, fullwidth structural punctuation, unusual whitespace, and selected zero-width separators
  • restricted normalization to query syntax only so string literals, comments, and backticked identifiers are preserved exactly as written
  • improved pasted-query compatibility for Neo4j-style Cypher copied from chat apps, documents, and rich-text sources.
• Compound MATCH ... OPTIONAL MATCH ... RETURN result modifiers:
  • fixed the specialized joined-row execution path to apply ORDER BY, SKIP, and LIMIT instead of returning storage/join order
  • restored deterministic aliased ordering for OPTIONAL MATCH retrieval queries and aligned the executor with Neo4j-compatible result semantics.

Tests

• Added exact regression coverage for:
  • safe normalization of Unicode Cypher syntax confusables outside literals/comments/backticks
  • normalized MERGE and OPTIONAL MATCH execution through the public executor path
  • deterministic ordered results for mirrored-graph OPTIONAL MATCH retrieval queries
  • end-to-end parity for ASCII and Unicode-arrow mirrored Section hierarchy queries.
