Viscosity_Models

The programs were written for easy calculation of viscosities from QCM-D measurement data and for making estimation with Gruenberg-Nissan (GN) model. You can download, compile and use the prepared functions in Origin Clab.

For the usage of the programs a demonstration video will be uploaded soon.

1-qcm calculations program

Initally, you can start to use qcm calculations program to calculate the viscosity values from the deltaf3 and deltaD3 values. To save the time, some of the parameters were already defined in the program. One should redefine these parameters according to your measurement. The predefined parameters are f0BaseFrequency; nlViscosityWater; molecularWeigthofWater; densityofWater; dqDensityQuartz; mqShearModQuartz. You should be careful about the units of the parameters.

2-Interaction Parameter Finder

After calculation of viscosity values by QCM, the GN interaction parameteres and mass fractions were calculated for each injected concentrations. Again in this program, we predefined some parameters for easy calculations.

3-Model Calculations

After obtanining the GN interaction parameters, the avarage values were calculated manually (GN)av. In model calculations file, the full estimation was run for all fractions from 0 to 1 with 0.1 iterations. Some parameters were predefined and updated according to each measurements.

4-AAD

The final step for calculation of AAD values for each injection. Some parameters were predefined and should be updated according to each measurements.
