Type: 2d-platformer
Properties: Tile-based, levels by Tiled Map Editor Supported by Box2d -physics
Player collects balls of color found around the world. These collected colors are used to activate players abilities.
- red : offensive
- flame shield allows players to run through enemies
- more...
- blue : defensive
- protective shield allows players to jump on spikes and traps
- more...
- green : utility
- allows player to interact with the world
- move boxes
- enhance jumping power
- add more force to landing
- slide on the floor / move faster
- collect stuff
- allows player to interact with the world
Colors can be found by:
- taking down monsters
- finding in various places
- more ...
Collected colors are displayed in the HUD. When player collects colors while his meter is full, they are stored and will be calculated for points in the end of the level.
Some food of thought:
- End level points, what for? Perhaps allow "overflow" colors to go back to world.
- Balancing the game with usable colors versus "overflow"
Would-be-nice-to-have Monkey Island style inventory for items.
- possibility for some extra puzzles?
