Add subfolder or disc- and then track-# if album has more than one disc

First of all I'd like to thank you for this terrific piece of software. That was exactly what I was looking for a long time.

Is it possible to add a subfolder only when an album has more than one disc, containing the disc number in the subfolder?
If yes, which syntax do I have to use in the config file?

You can utilize the item.disc in the file templates.

Something like {item.album}/{item.disc}/{item.title} would create subfolders with disc.

Thank you, but I don't want a subfolder everytime just when the album contains 2 discs or more.

How it Works (Step-by-Step)

1. Directory Selection: It looks at every directory in your current location (for album in */;).

2. Counting Contents: For each album, it counts how many subdirectories are inside.

• Since the find command includes the parent folder in its count, a result of 2 means there is exactly one subfolder inside that album.

3. Identification: It identifies that single subfolder (often named "Disc 1", "CD1", or "Media").

4. The "Flattening":

• It moves all files from the subfolder up into the main album directory.
• It then deletes the now-empty subfolder.

5. Safety: It uses 2>/dev/null to hide errors (like if a folder is empty) and rmdir to ensure it only deletes the subfolder if it is truly empty.
