Keyboard shortcuts stop working after switching pages

Environment: Windows, Ipe 7.2.28 / 7.2.29

Steps to reproduce:

Create a new Ipe document with two pages.
On Page 1, keyboard shortcuts work normally.
Switch to Page 2 — shortcuts still work.
Switch back to Page 1 — global keyboard shortcuts stop working.

Affected shortcuts: Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+S, Ctrl+C, Delete, S, etc.

However:

Mouse commands such as Edit → Undo continue to work.
Keyboard input inside text objects still works (Ctrl+A, Backspace, typing).
The issue occurs with both the built-in basic stylesheet and my custom stylesheet.
Reproduced on multiple computers and in both Ipe 7.2.28 and 7.2.29.

It seems that Ipe's global keyboard shortcut handling stops working after switching pages.

I cannot reproduce this problem using Wine on Linux. I'll have to find a machine where I can actually use Windows.

Could it be that the Ipe component handling the shortcuts simply loses focus? Do shortcuts start working again once you click on the canvas?
