Adding Sounds

Audio/Sound

As of Automated Animations version 1.0, the Sound/Audio options have been completely reworked. Now, all Animation sections can have sounds added that pair directly with the given animation. Sound can be added both on the item directly, and within the Automatic Recognition menu.

Each Audio section provides a file picker to choose the file or file path, and the following options:

  1. Volume: 0 - 1
  2. Delay: Delays the start of the audio in milliseconds
  3. Wildcard: Placing an asterisk ( * ) symbol in place of the file name (leaving the file path and .mp3/wave/ogg suffix) will randomize the sound played. Only sound files in that specified file path, with the same suffix media type, will be randomized. For example in the screenshot below the first audio path is MeleeSoundFX/Maul/ (MeleeSoundFX is under the Foundry DATA folder) with a suffix of .mp3. When played, any file in that directory ending with .mp3 will be played at random.

NOTE If a Repeat is defined for the animation, the sound will repeat with the same number and delay as the animation.

NOTE If you ONLY want Sound on an item, and no animation, you can disable animations on the item and still enable a Sound.
