• Warp por region: ahora cada region de cancion tiene su propio toggle Warp y su BPM original. Activalo desde la barra de transporte y la cancion se ajustara al tempo del timeline sin cambiar de tono, usando el motor de time-stretch del audio engine. Puedes corregir el BPM original sin reactivar el warp con click derecho sobre la region.
• Cambio de tono mejorado: con warp apagado, la transposicion funciona como varispeed (sube o baja el tono cambiando la velocidad, manteniendo el grid coherente); con warp activado, el tono cambia pero la duracion se mantiene fija al ratio del warp. La interaccion entre warp, transposicion y el boton T por pista esta documentada en la web (Pitch, Warp y el boton T).
• Seleccion multiple y arrastre en bloque: Ctrl/Cmd+click anade o quita clips de la seleccion, Shift+click selecciona un rango, y al arrastrar cualquier clip seleccionado se mueve todo el grupo manteniendo la separacion relativa. Click simple sobre un clip ya seleccionado colapsa la seleccion al soltarlo, como en Ableton.
• Magnets con Ctrl al arrastrar: manten Ctrl o Cmd mientras arrastras un clip y sus bordes se enganchan al playhead, marcas de seccion, bordes de region y bordes de otros clips. Una guia dorada vertical te marca exactamente sobre que ancla esta pegado el clip.
• Navegacion del timeline al estilo Ableton: scroll mueve verticalmente, Shift+scroll mueve horizontalmente, Ctrl+rueda o pinch hace zoom hacia el cursor, y Alt+rueda cambia la altura de la pista. El esquema antiguo sigue disponible como "LibreTracks classic" en Configuracion.
• Carga y edicion de sesiones grandes mas agil: anadir o borrar pistas en proyectos grandes pasa de unos 2 segundos a casi instantaneo porque ya no se reenvian las waveforms en cada cambio, y el control remoto solo recibe los datos que necesita para el transporte. El timeline tambien evita posiciones negativas y permite click derecho sobre el area vacia para anadir pista o carpeta.
• Mejor manejo de archivos de proyecto: el dialogo de guardar ahora valida la ruta y la extension antes de escribir, evitando errores al guardar como en ubicaciones distintas.
• Timeline mas claro para sesiones grandes: puedes colorear clips y pistas desde el menu contextual, aplicar color a varias pistas seleccionadas a la vez, y las carpetas propagan su identidad visual a las pistas hijas para orientarte mas rapido en desktop y remote.
• Navegacion y mezcla mas comodas: scroll mueve verticalmente, Shift+scroll mueve horizontalmente, Ctrl+rueda o pinch hace zoom hacia el cursor, y Ctrl+rueda sobre el timeline ajusta la altura de las pistas para pasar de una vista compacta a una vista detallada. El esquema antiguo sigue disponible como "LibreTracks classic" en Configuracion.
• Routing y remote mas practicos: las pistas hijas pueden dejar su salida en "Inherit" para seguir automaticamente la ruta de su carpeta, ideal para buses de click o cue. El remote tambien mejora su mixer con medidores, mejor respuesta al mover volumen/pan y una lectura de transporte mas estable.

• Nueva vista compacta estilo Session: pulsa Tab o el icono de vistas para alternar entre el timeline DAW lineal y una proyeccion con una columna por cancion. Cada columna lleva su propio fader Master con vumetro, BPM efectivo, boton de play y menu contextual con renombrar, cambiar BPM, exportar y eliminar cancion. Debajo aparece un mixer horizontal compartido con M/S/T, fader vertical y pan por pista. Lo que cambias en una vista se ve al instante en la otra.
• La cancion es ahora el objeto base del proyecto: los clips siempre viven dentro de una cancion y no pueden cruzar su final, asi puedes reordenar, exportar o borrar canciones como una unidad. Al borrar una cancion se eliminan sus clips y sus tempo markers, y se purgan las pistas auto-creadas que queden vacias. Al crear una cancion nueva se ancla un tempo marker en su inicio para que no herede el tempo de la cancion anterior.
• Drag-and-drop de audio en la vista compacta: arrastra archivos desde el explorador del sistema o desde la Biblioteca a una columna de cancion y se crea un clip por archivo con su pista correspondiente. Veras placeholders dashed teal indicando donde van a caer. Las pistas auto-creadas se borran solas en cuanto pierden su ultimo clip, sin acumular carriles residuales.
• Importar y exportar canciones como paquetes .ltpkg desde la vista compacta: usa el boton "Importar .ltpkg" o arrastra el archivo desde el explorador a cualquier parte del strip y veras una columna fantasma indicando donde caera. La cancion importada se anade al final del proyecto con su BPM, marcas, clips y pistas intactos.
• Reordenacion de pistas con multi-seleccion en el mixer compacto: Ctrl+click anade o quita pistas de la seleccion y Shift+click selecciona rangos. Arrastra cualquier pista seleccionada y se mueven todas juntas. Lineas teal verticales te indican si caes antes o despues del strip de destino; si el destino es un folder y arrastras al centro, las pistas pasan a ser hijas del folder.
• Click en el header de una cancion en la vista compacta para seleccionarla: el borde se ilumina teal y la barra superior de Transposicion y Warp se enlaza automaticamente a esa cancion. El playhead se diferencia visualmente con una barra ambar pulsante a la izquierda para que no se confunda con la seleccion.
• Mejoras de la barra superior: el icono de Snap to Grid es ahora un iman para diferenciarlo del icono de cambio de vista. El control Master se oculta automaticamente en la vista compacta porque ya esta en cada columna de cancion. El BPM ya no muestra decimales infinitos al hacer varispeed: ahora se redondea a 2 decimales sin perder precision al teclear.
• Filtro "Solo cancion activa" en la vista compacta: un nuevo boton de embudo en la barra superior (visible solo en compact) oculta los tracks que no participan en la cancion donde esta el playhead, manteniendo a la vista las carpetas padre para no perder la jerarquia. Ideal en sesiones grandes con muchas canciones para ver de un vistazo solo los faders de la cancion en curso. El estado del filtro se conserva entre sesiones.
• Mover canciones completas en la vista DAW: arrastra la banda amarilla con el nombre de la cancion para desplazarla por el timeline. Region, clips, tempo markers, marcas de seccion y cambios de compas se trasladan juntos en una sola operacion atomica. Con Snap to Grid activo el inicio se ajusta al downbeat mas cercano; Shift durante el drag desactiva el snap puntualmente. Si el destino solapara con otra cancion el movimiento se rechaza con un mensaje claro y nada se pierde.
• Mejoras de calidad de vida: el banner de estado de la esquina inferior derecha desaparece solo despues de unos 5 segundos. El estado expandido/colapsado de las carpetas de la Biblioteca se conserva entre sesiones para que no tengas que volver a cerrarlas cada vez que abres el panel. Los clips de la vista compacta heredan el color de su pista para identificarlos de un vistazo. Al importar un .ltpkg ya no falla si el paquete contiene clips que se extienden mas alla del final original de su region.

• Per-region warp: every song region now has its own Warp toggle and source BPM. Turn it on from the transport bar and the song time-stretches to the timeline tempo while keeping pitch unchanged, powered by the audio engine's time-stretcher. Right-click a region to fix the source BPM without re-toggling warp.
• Smarter pitch handling: with warp off, transpose works as varispeed (pitch and speed move together, the grid stays consistent); with warp on, pitch shifts but length is fixed to the warp ratio. The full interaction between warp, transpose, and the per-track T toggle is documented on the website (Pitch, Warp & The T Button).
• Multi-select and group drag for clips: Ctrl/Cmd+click adds or removes clips from the selection, Shift+click selects a range, and dragging any selected clip moves the whole group while preserving relative spacing. Plain-clicking an already selected clip collapses the selection on release, like in Ableton.
• Ctrl-drag magnets: hold Ctrl or Cmd while dragging a clip and its edges snap to the playhead, section markers, region edges, and edges of other clips. A vertical gold guide shows you exactly which anchor the clip locked onto.
• Ableton-style timeline navigation: scroll moves vertically, Shift+scroll pans horizontally, Ctrl+wheel or pinch zooms toward the cursor, and Alt+wheel resizes track height. The old scheme is still available as "LibreTracks classic" in Settings.
• Faster loading and editing of large sessions: adding or removing tracks in big projects drops from ~2 seconds to nearly instant because waveforms are no longer re-sent on every change, and the remote control only receives the data it actually needs. The timeline also prevents negative positions and lets you right-click empty space to add an audio or folder track.
• Better project file handling: the save dialog now validates the path and extension before writing, avoiding errors when saving to different locations.
• Clearer large-session timeline: clips and tracks can now be color-coded from the context menu, color can be applied to multiple selected tracks at once, and folder tracks carry that visual identity down to their children so desktop and remote stay easier to scan.
• More comfortable navigation and mixing: scroll moves vertically, Shift+scroll pans horizontally, Ctrl+wheel or pinch zooms toward the cursor, and Ctrl+wheel over the timeline changes track height so you can jump between compact and detailed layouts. The old scheme is still available as "LibreTracks classic" in Settings.
• Better routing and remote control: child tracks can stay on "Inherit" so they follow the folder output automatically, which makes cue/click buses faster to set up. The remote mixer also gets meters, smoother volume/pan interaction, and a more stable transport readout.

• New Session-style Compact View: press Tab or the view-toggle icon to switch between the linear DAW timeline and a projection that shows one column per song. Each column has its own master fader with meter, effective BPM, play button, and a context menu to rename, change BPM, export, and delete the song. A shared horizontal mixer with M/S/T, vertical fader and pan lives at the bottom. Changes in either view appear instantly in the other.
• Songs are now the primary object of a project: clips always live inside one song and can't cross its end, so you can reorder, export or delete songs as a unit. Deleting a song removes its clips and tempo markers, and prunes auto-created tracks that go empty. Creating a new song pins a tempo marker at its start so it doesn't inherit the previous song's tempo.
• Audio drag-and-drop in the compact view: drag files from the OS file explorer or from the Library onto a song column and one clip per file is created with a matching track. You'll see dashed teal placeholders showing where they will land. Auto-created tracks remove themselves the moment they lose their last clip, so you don't end up with residual lanes.
• Import and export songs as .ltpkg packages from the compact view: use the "Import .ltpkg" button or drag the file from the file explorer onto any part of the strip and you'll see a ghost column previewing where it will land. The imported song is appended at the end of the project with its BPM, markers, clips and tracks intact.
• Multi-select track reordering in the compact mixer: Ctrl+click adds or removes tracks from the selection and Shift+click selects ranges. Drag any selected track and they all move together. Vertical teal lines show you whether you're dropping before or after the target strip; if the target is a folder and you drop in the middle, the tracks become children of that folder.
• Click a song header in the compact view to select it: the border lights up teal and the top toolbar's Transposition and Warp groups bind to that song automatically. The playhead is now visually distinct with a pulsing amber bar on the left so it doesn't get confused with the selection signal.
• Toolbar improvements: the Snap to Grid icon is now a magnet to tell it apart from the view-toggle icon. The Master control auto-hides in the compact view because each song column already has one. The BPM input no longer shows endless decimals during varispeed: it's rounded to 2 decimals without losing precision when you type.
• "Active song only" filter in the compact view: a new funnel button in the top toolbar (visible only in compact) hides the tracks that aren't playing in the song under the playhead, while keeping ancestor folders visible so the hierarchy doesn't break. Handy in big sessions to focus on the faders that actually matter right now. The filter state persists across sessions.
• Move entire songs in the DAW view: drag the amber name band of a song to translate it across the timeline. The region, clips, tempo markers, section markers and time-signature markers all move together in a single atomic operation. With Snap to Grid on the song's start snaps to the nearest downbeat; hold Shift during the drag to bypass snap. If the destination would overlap another song the move is rejected with a clear message and nothing is lost.
• Quality of life: the status banner in the bottom-right corner auto-hides after about 5 seconds. The expanded/collapsed state of Library folders is preserved across sessions so you don't have to close them again every time you open the panel. Clips in the compact view inherit the colour of their track for at-a-glance identification. Importing a .ltpkg no longer fails when the package contains clips that extended past the original end of their region.
