Hi, Solana foundation Community
Every GitHub open-source repository is not just code, but a product. Whether it's a product directly usable by end users or a tool library that serves as a building block in the product ecosystem, they all have value. However, there isn't a good way to measure this value, especially for early-stage projects. We are trying to solve this problem by issuing tokens for each project. Issuing tokens is easy and can easily fall into speculation, but what truly sets us apart is how we bind token value to project value. Our approach includes:
Importantly, regardless of whether a project issues tokens, analyzing community contributions helps recognize and incentivize participants. This is what we are currently working on.
