#WinPlay

Windows tunes for your office.

##Origins

This project is an adaptation of minton's spot which is heavily inspired by Play.

##Requirements

  • Windows
  • Ruby
  • iTunes > ? - Only tested with v11.1.3
  • Campfire with Hubot (optional but recommended)

##Setup

Install iTunes.

Clone the repo:

git clone https://github.com/otternq/WinPlay.git
cd WinPlay

Install gems:

bundle install

Start Spot:

rake start

The server will start up here: localhost:5051.

You should now open your favorite playlist.

##Usage

WinTunes can technically be used by any client capable of GET/PUT/POST requests as described below but it was really designed to be controlled via Hubot in Campfire.

The API for WinPlay is currently the same as minton's spot, which has its own Hubot script. You can find the latest Spot Hubot script here: Spot.coffee.
