Unpublish a single document in a collection

The idea is to allow sharing a entire collection but hide a single document to web in this same collection.

For example, I have a personal ToolBox in a collection including a page "Home Infrastructure". I want to share the toolbox to the web, for collegues but I don't want to share my home infrastructure to the world.

Sounds like a reasonable feature request to me.

However, I want to know more about how sharing your "Home Infrastructure" page would be useful as a tool without being able to demonstrate to folks how it works. Are there dummy documents you can link and rename it to be "Example Infrastructure"?

I've actually created a "ToolBox" collection where I stored some procedure like Docker installation on different OS, base commands. Like a common toolbox finally. In this collection, I have some documentation about my home infrastructure, like domain pointing on my public IP, opened port on my host or some documentation links.

I'd like to share my toolbox to access it easily without login to outline. But my personnal infrastructure doesn't have to be shared publicly. So, like you can do in GitBook, I'd like to share my "Toolbox" collection but 'hide' the "personnal ifnrastructure" document on the web if I'm not logged in.

I hope you'll understand what I mean.

I understand what you mean now and your explanation is very clear. No apologies necessary.

I think what you might be able to do instead of using your home infrastructure as an actual example is to instead use obviously fake details for your home infrastructure in the programming elements you demonstrate. When it comes to technical writing, people are used to having to swap out demonstration details for the details that are specific to whatever infrastructure they're using.
