When using the new photo app, the following translations are available on Transifex, they are all translated to German, but are not shown translated when switching the langauge.

  • Media Type
  • Aperture (f/)
  • Camera Model
  • Camera Make
  • Focal Length (mm)
  • Photo / EXIF Filters
  • KQL Query
  • Paste or type KQL directly. Click "Apply to Filters" to populate filter fields.
  • Standard Filters
  • Advanced
  • Saved Searches
  • Content
  • Apply to Filters
  • Search Status
  • and many more...

Other stuff:

  • Please remove the Server Information at the bottom left. This is redundant from the default we already have

  • Dates should be in format: yyyy-mm-dd (The international standard for date notation is ISO 8601)

  • Searching for a folder works, but when you try to open the folder (three-dots menu) a new window opens but you do not get into the folder (the folder was in my personal space, so no potential access issues)

  • For KQL:

    • I was not able to produce a result e.g. using one of the examples of the readme,
photo.takendatetime>=2024-01-01 showed all available objects including office documents
    • The 3-dot menu on the left should:
      • open the photo app if available and directly opens the photo
      • offer to jump to the file location, currently it offers to open it
    • We need tooltip with either a link to a KQL description for keywords (I have not found a user friendly one) or a keywords list that is available in our KQL implementation. This list could be opened in a new window so one could read and try...
