Hello everyone!

I will have to rest after all this coding, so don't expect any updates anytime soon, but give me a feedback or features ideas that you might wanna see in my script!

Hopefully, the next time I code something for this, I will be even better, so let's hold our thumbs together ;)

I made this version to address some of the issues and minor inconveniences I got from using my own script.
Also added some features that seemed to be helpful for all of you that use my script.

Thank you for using this script and I hope that it makes your life easier!

As always,
Have fun RecORDERing!

Hello every person reading this text!

I have done it!

It might not have been the best decision for my own mental health, but I did it anyway!

I have completely re-written the RecORDER script for my own ease of debugging and such.
At least I do hope that this will be much better.

In any case, this is the update I'm pleased about greatly, because I managed to add two features that I wanted to do for so long, I cannot even remember when I thought of them!

As of now, you are able to easily change your monitored source inside of the properties of the script.
It might not be fully automatic, but it should work great!

Except for that, you can as of now choose which organization mode do you want to use.
The OG RecORDER one or the newest - "Group by Date"

Let me know if you find any bugs or wanna see a specific feature and we can discuss about it!

As always,
Have fun RecORDERING!

God, this text suck

Hello everyone, oxy here!

I did a oopsie in the code that made the Replay Buffer method included incorrectly into the dictionary of events.
Here's a quick fix for this situation, because I have to move my bottom to do some shopping.

Have fun recording!

Hello everybody, oxy here!

Another surprise this year!
I got inspired by some muse (or bard too happy to cast bardic inspiration) to do more changes to the script, improve it and hopefully made it even nicer to use.
Got rid of old, unused things, focused to make things simpler so the usage of script is more straight-forward, allowed some customization for the user and added option to check if there was an update to the script.

Anyway, I hope that as always, you will have fun recORDERing your stuff (kill me)!

Hey hey people, oxy here!

I am still alive, despise the (almost) year silence (I hope my script was treating you right).

There was a lot of thing happening in my life and I was all over the place.
I grew as a programmer (as a person too) and learned lots of stuff to improve my future code.
Then I finally got to do some working on the RecORDER.

I'm going to be frank with you - I used the AI available in Visual Studio Code to help myself get back into the code and understand my reasoning from a year behind. The AI as supportive tool is pretty nifty stuff!
I also used it to improve my script and fix the issue that was making me really annoyed - related to the split files file event firing.

Everything should work. I made sure to test it extensively.

If something does not work for you - let me know!

@oxypatic oxypatic released this 31 Dec 10:52

Hi all!

It was a long time since I posted any updates on my script, since I feel like this is the way I like it for now.
Different things happened in my life and I had new experiences as well, which make me have better overall sight on my script, so I might try doing some work in the background about re-writing parts of code that make me cringe from the implementation.

But of course there still might be bugs to fix or features that you would like to see, so feel free to let me know about them on the Issues tab. Make sure that I understand you and what you mean, otherwise I might discard an idea that would be wonderful to implement!

As always,
Have fun recording/screenshooting!

@oxypatic oxypatic released this 20 Sep 22:26

Hello all!

Here's yet another update to my little script, that becomes better with each update! (I hope)
In this update you should have no longer issues with file movement, since I made it asynchronous, which to put in simple terms - does it's own thing and doesn't stop/slow down the OBS!

You can also see that in the What's Changed part of the update there are pulls for other features that were actually hotfixes for the version 1.4.3, which if you did not manage to download - do not worry, they are already in this update as well!

As always,
Have fun recording/screenshooting!

@oxypatic oxypatic released this 15 Sep 12:22

Hello all,

Quick and big update - we have automatic source selection, you only need to make sure that the possible names of your game/window capturing sources are in the 'sourceNames' array at the begining of my script (I already put the default ones there).

As always,
Have fun recording/screenshooting!

Hotfix: Only title taken from 'hooked' signal was sanitized before folder creation, fixed that!
