Echo vs print

Should we be directing users to use click.echo or print.

I agree with the typer sentiment. Generally use print. Use Rich if you can. Echo if you must.

So the idea would be to totally eliminate echo()? Like deprecate it for Click 9.0.0? Might be a fun experiment to see what this would looks like! 🤠

I don't think so. There are good reasons to keep it around as a utility, but I don't think we should be directing users to it since they don't need it most of the time.
