• Codex sessions no longer fumble their first skill reads — on Codex, a session's opening turns routinely burned several failed sed/cat attempts reading SKILL.md from Codex's global plugin cache (~/.codex/plugins/cache/…) before recovering to the real location. Root cause: Codex (0.137) presents skills to the model as an alias-compressed roots table (r0…rN) the model must expand itself, and with ~10 roots the expansion misfires — our skills were listed correctly but read from the wrong root. The injected instructions file now spells out the concrete cwd-relative path for the mode skill (e.g. .agents/skills/pneuma-webcraft/SKILL.md) plus a path rule covering every pneuma-* skill (preferences, project, session), giving the model a route that never goes through the alias table. Applies to all backends with their respective skills dirs; takes effect on the next skill install.
