Description
tlmgr update --self creates the error tlmgr: Local TeX Live (2025) is older than remote repository (2026).
This already happned before: #266
$ tlmgr repository remove main
tlmgr: removed repository: main
$ tlmgr repository add https://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/ctan/systems/texlive/tlnet main
tlmgr: added repository with tag main: https://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/ctan/systems/texlive/tlnet
$ tlmgr update --self
tlmgr: Local TeX Live (2025) is older than remote repository (2026).
Cross release updates are only supported with
update-tlmgr-latest(.sh/.exe) --update
