Combat Extended

A full optional combat overhaul, off by default. Enable in Configure Settings → Homebrew: Combat Extended (requires reload). Combat Extended is based on The Duderonomist's Equipment Overhaul and rule adaptations.

  • Guard stances: Balanced / Warding / Closed / Fool's, with mods + dock button + config dialog
  • Raise Shield action + dialog + damage routing
  • Revised attack / defense action costs and effects
  • GM-tunable Combat Actions editor for per-action STA / to-hit / damage / flag overrides
  • Per-subsystem toggles (guards, raise shield, action costs, defense costs, EO armor model) for GMs who want only part of the overhaul

Token Combat

  • Combat was previously just theater of the mind
  • Now its wired to work with tokens, although may still be a bit fiddly since its WIP, requires playtesting
  • Just drag and drop tokens, select targets with T, right clicking a token and setting it in the menu, or middle mouse

Witchers Reborn magic

  • Spell / hex chat cards with per-target verdict blocks
  • Multi-target fan-out with per-target hit/defense stamped
  • Combat Meditation action
  • Rider registry (5 ops) + castDamage button routing (STA / ablation / reliability / shield HP)
  • Area harvest via interactive MeasuredTemplate preview (mousemove-snap, wheel-rotate, click-commit)
  • Six-school heroic actions + rider perks

UI perf pass

Chrome overlays now render meaningfully cheaper.

  • Cut backdrop-filter from six full-screen overlay panels (Inventory, Character, Bestiary, Journal, Map, Crafting), the Weather menu, the game menu, and the notification popup — all sat behind ≥0.93-opaque backgrounds where the blur was invisible while forcing a per-frame re-sample of every underlying canvas pixel
  • Removed a permanent will-change: opacity on the lightning overlay (was promoting a full-viewport compositor layer for something at opacity:0 idle 99% of the time)
  • Kept all animated filter/box-shadow keyframes intact — atmosphere is deliberate

Food + drink pack WIP

  • 10 regions × 80 dishes + 20 alcoholic + 10 non-alcoholic drinks
  • Plus Kovir/Poviss (drinks only) and Zerrikania/Ofir (imports only)
  • Consistent pricing: base × charges × tier × DC × alch-mod × step × bulk_discount
  • Food rots, gives you satiety, you can get adverse effects from this. Still WIP and more content to come.

Im aware of translation demand, Im going to finish implementing all the features I want to before this so that it is a smooth process. As it stands you can translate the en.js file in /lang/ and do a good job with translation scope
