Verify what you downloaded against checksums.txt. Installed copies
update themselves from the System tab.

Setup

Installation, hotkeys and troubleshooting live in the
README. Two things
that catch people out:

• macOS: the first launch is blocked. Right-click the app > Open;
  the README lists the alternatives.
• Linux on Wayland: hotkeys need you in the input group.
  sudo usermod -aG input $USER, then log out and back in.
