Its a deynemic database system with a higly customizable permisson system.
The intension of this project was to make a solution for medical research data. But this software can also be used for tracking data of the weather or organising your guitar arcords. Its easy to customize your system to your need via the userinterface, wiht out changeing a single line of code.
sudo apt-get install git
cd path/of/your/choice

cd /path/to/your/Project
sudo apt-get install python-pip
sudo pip install -r deploy/requirements.txt
navigate into your projects folder: cd path/to/your/Project/MEPSS2013/ProsDataBase ./manange.py syncdb please say yes if you are asked to create an admin user ./manage.py migrate
if you like to use another database than the default sqlite(only recomended for develping) you can change it in ProsDataBase/ProsDataBase/settings.py
you can also use PostgreSQL

mysql>CREATE DATABASE prosdatabase;
mysql>GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON prosdatabase.* TO 'prosdatabase'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'some_pass' WITH GRANT OPTION;
mysql>exit
change your mysql configuration ProsDataBase/ProsData/Base/settings.py

navigate into your projects folder:
cd path/to/your/Project/MEPSS2013/ProsDataBase
./manange.py syncdb
please say yes if you are asked to create an admin user
./manage.py migrate
you can noew test it by running
./manage.py runserver
and open http://localhost:8000 in your browser or try it with wget/curl
install nginx
sudo apt-get install nginx python-flup
run django in fsatcgi mode
python ./manage.py runfcgi host=127.0.0.1 port=8000
don't forget to add it to your init.d script!
