It takes time for the name to gain recognition and for people to get used to it. For me personally it took few months to adopt it as "primary" name. Old domain will be maintained for longer period (maybe forever). Also the old name is still mentioned here and there to catch the search prompts. It's a painful change, but necessary. It also has at least 1 adventage - it's shorter and simpler to write and speak. |

Just saw the 4.0.0 milestone notes and I can understand why you want to change it. It is unfortunate that people cannot tell the difference between the developer of the system and the developers of programs using said system. Other database engines also have many programs named after them too. And sure, I can see how they probably got their fair share of wrong questions too, they still exist. But oh well. Let's hope it caches on quickly 😁 edit: Have you thought about naming it to something like "Letos: SQLite Manager" or "Letos: Manager for SQLite"? |

Just noticed that the application got a name change. While I do understand the name change to get rid of any confusion with an official SQLite application many other applications do use SQLite in their name to suggest specifically supporting or being made for it.
That's a huge change for an application that is surely well known by it's name for everyone who works with sqlite databases.
Letos on the other hand gives many results but this application here isn't one of them.
