Using this gem makes your classes behave like Rails models
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'model-like'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install model-like
class DummyModel
include ModelLike::Imitable
attribute :name, String
validates :name, :presence => true
end
dummy_1 = DummyModel.new(:name => 'foo')
dummy_1.save # true
dummy_2 = Dummy.create(:name => 'foo')
dummy_2 == dummy_1 # true
# supports save! and create! and before/after callbacks for save- Fork it
