canton-localnet is an Apache-2.0 Docker Compose stack of a Canton LocalNet (release tags follow the Splice version: v0.9.1-1 is Splice 0.9.1, older ones are still tagged), with a Go CLI, C# and Go test fixtures, and a GitHub Action that boots it. Nothing in it is .NET-specific: the Action exports endpoints and OAuth2 credentials as
CANTON_LOCALNET_*environment variables, and your tests can be in any language. This is the boot and teardown from the SDK's multi-synchronizer workflow, trimmed. It runs on plain
ubuntu-latest:That is the SV plus four validators and a second synchronizer. In this green run the boot step took 6 minutes, image pulls included, and the whole job about 9 minutes. The runner reported 16 GB, with roughly 10 GB in use after bring-up. The tests there are the reassignment conformance and rejection suites over gRPC and REST.
Smallest setup:
validators: a. Addpqs: 'true'for a PQS Postgres per slot, observability: 'true'for Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and Tempo.Action reference. Questions are welcome below.
