Highlights

  • Six CRT tube modes (F5): Shadow Mask, Aperture Grille with Trinitron damper wires, Slot Mask, curved Glass with an intensity-driven bulge, the Full tube, and Off — plus phosphor bloom across 20 intensity steps.
  • Worn appearance cycle (F1): dark → light → light+worn → dark+worn; the worn scuff-scratches-and-sticker-ghost filter layers over any chassis color.
  • Phosphor Drift, cassette cut: the built-in tune is now played off an imaginary cassette — tape-in and PLAY click intro, brushed jazz drums over a tape-hiss bed, deck STOP clunk at the end; starts quietly at 20% volume.
  • F9 label flips between EXPAND and MINIMIZE while the toolbar is covered.
  • README, docs screenshots and terminal help synced with the new controls.

Design overhaul

  • CRT modes: F5 now cycles Shadow Mask → Aperture Grille → Glass → Off; scanline rhythm is fixed (lines can never spread into ruled-paper stripes), F6/F7 scale intensity; light themes automatically damp the RGB mask
  • Two round speakers: the one next to A plays Phosphor Drift — a cozy lofi tune with a brown-noise rain bed, composed for agentboy (glows while playing); the right one gates sound effects — all SFX derived from the same D-major world (soft triangle waves, whisper-quiet typing tick)
  • Selection rework: translucent highlighter veil that stays readable on every theme, including G-Shock red
  • Paper-rule light palettes: Phosphor light is now green ink on mint paper; Cyberpunk light neutralized
  • Dystopian pack: hairline crack in the screen glass + new 'worn' scuffed chassis frame (dark & light) in the F2 cycle
  • Docs site: interactive 8-theme gallery with live dark/light swap, all screenshots re-shot
  • Fixed: approval dialog fell back to a serif font (CSS font stack was quoted as one string)
