WCP Agent — Markdown Editor v1.0.2

Companion host agent for the Markdown Editor widget.

What's new in v1.0.2

  • Installer now shows product name and version on the wizard welcome screen
  • Uninstaller app uses the Penrith Beacon icon (replaces generic AppScript icon)
  • Improved process teardown on upgrade: old agent is reliably stopped before the new version installs
  • Drive list filtering and sort fixes

Installation

Download wcp-agent-markdown-editor.pkg and double-click to install. The agent starts automatically at login and listens on 127.0.0.1:3749.

Verification

curl -s http://127.0.0.1:3749/health

Uninstall

Run Uninstall WCP Markdown Editor Agent from /Applications, or:

launchctl bootout gui/$(id -u) ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.penrithbeacon.markdown-editor-agent.plist
rm -f ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.penrithbeacon.markdown-editor-agent.plist
rm -rf "/Applications/Markdown Editor Agent.app"
