I think this might be best served by integrating yt-dlp for downloading videos, as I suggested in #940.

Implementing all the tools you listed would be a huge effort.

@iFreilicht Yes and Persepolis already integrates yt-dlp, these are just optional suggestions in case yt-dlp is censored or banned youtube-dl has already been deleted from github following complaints from rights holders, so have other tools in reserve can serve...

For Persepolis to truly compete with IDM, it must be able to detect complex HLS embed video in streaming sites and the 4 rare extensions that I proposed can help with this complicated objective and we hope for their integration into Persepolis, unless that persepols already detects this kind of hls videos..... I have not tested because I am waiting for the windows version of the new version of Persepolis....
