Is my system okayish enough to run anything?

Im running a "gaming" laptop with a 6GB laptop 3060, 16GB of ram, and an Intel i7-12700H. I dont expect to get crazy good performance, but is there any way I can get some use out of it?

Go to https://huggingface.co and browse the "models" they have different sizes and tell you the minimum requirements. They go as little as an old iPhone so I'm sure your gaming laptop will have something suitable

There's a lot of choices at the link mentioned by Martynas above. I'd recommend asking Claude or GPT for an optimal model for your requirements.

use gemma e4b you should be able to run it by partial offloading to gpu and the rest cpu plus enough space for some context
