Changes since Phon 3.5

Note: This is a pre-release version of Phon 4.0. This version is not feature complete and may contain bugs. Please report any issues to the Phon issue tracker.

General

• Updated transcript format with improved support for the CHAT transcription format.
• Update to TalkBank 3.0.1/chatter 3.0.9.
• Record 'groups' have been removed in favour of a flat model compatible with the CHAT format.
  Existing projects will be automatically converted to the new format when opened.
• Icon theme for Phon is now more consistent and primarily uses the Google Material Design icons.

Welcome window

• Welcome window will close after a project is opened and re-open when all other windows have been closed.

Project window

• Project window now shows a 'default' corpus which will display all sessions in the project root.
• New corpus/session actions are no longer displayed automatically.

Session editor

• The 'Record data' view has been replaced with the 'Transcript' view. The transcript view displays the contents
  of the session's transcript including comments, gems, and records. Records may be viewed as a single text document
  or one at a time as is traditional in Phon.
• Improved view layout management, view are now accessible view icons shows on the left and right hand side of the window.
• A new view 'PhonShell' has been added to the session editor. This view allows for running Phon scripts in the context of the current session.
