I'd suggest releasing current master as 2.3 since the connection handling changes and follow up with this PR as 2.4? /cc @mathieudz |

@andig I tried to keep changes to the bare minimum, so from my POV removing SF 3.4 would be the only breaking change. I am not sure what your policy is on that front. I am more than happy to revise the change and re-add 3.4 to the versions but since 3.4 no longer receives support or security updates, I erred on the side of caution. |
