Question: Arm64 build

Description

Hi , I am looking for cross compiling php extension in arm64 arch.
I have installed necessary extensions along with sockets.so . When I list php -m output I can see sockets.so and socket.so is valuable in extension dir too.
FYI: I am not building PHP from source, I am using php amazon -package repositories from amazon linux extras.

However , I am still getting socket_create() undefined error while compiling my extension.

Can you post the relevant output? What OS are you on? How are you compiling your extension? Do you have the PHP dev packages installed so that the compiler can find the relevant header files?

I have built the extension sucessfully , However when I am trying to execute the make test it reports error

What does tests/xxx.phpt look like? It could create a new PHP process with the -n flag, not reading loading the INI file and thus not loading the extension, or using a different PHP binary completely. But that's just speculation. I can't think of another reason why this wouldn't work.

@iluuu1994 , This just file creates php process with -t an other option.
Just a quick question -n options requires just sockets or sockets.so as extension name ?
Something like
"exec {$php_executable} -n sockets.so dropping_server.inc";
OR
"exec {$php_executable} -n sockets dropping_server.inc";

I can give a try.
