1.19 rev022 - Headings font garbled at default zoom on firefox with laptop resolutions

Doesn't seem to be happening in Chrome, but on firefox at default zoom on my laptop (at 1600x900) the heading text overlaps and some letters are cut off or half shown.

on my main monitors (at 1920x1080) it isn't an issue, it is obviously a low priority issue and may well be related to my specific hardware, but figured i'd mention it anyway.

had a look with firebug, seems to be related to the specific font ("Lato") with the specific font weight (300)

Dropping the font back to Arial or changing the font weight to 400 both fix it, but in essence it just makes the text more bold.

Hi, Lato is used just for headings. If you look at first lines in css/bootstrap/bootstrap-custom.css and remove first @font-face, and leave only second with weight 400, is it better ?

Yep that definitely helps, the extra weight makes it much more readable.

@abeeson this settings are from 1.1 version, nothing changed, didn't receive any complaint besides this. I changed "Lato" to "Source Sans Pro" few commits back, is it still the same ?

I wanted to open another issue for the same problem, but then found this one still open... There still is a significant difference between Firefox and Chrome. When using my VDI infrastructure, on which Chrome is not available, I'm stuck using FF. The headers of the admin menu for example are barely readable there. Resolution of the system I'm working on is 1920x1080 at 22 inch monitor.

Yes. Wh I check the page you mention on my VDI environment, it all looks fine. All font lines are perfectly displayed and the letters are crisp. There is no Cleartype enabled on the VDI environment.
