I work on a SaaS procurement system that transacts in 40+ languages. We use Mezzio + bits from Simfony, etc, in front of a - slowly shrinking - load of legacy code, some truly ancient 😢. I contributed the APCu-cache stuff here because it was critical to our move to alpine and the modern world. That has worked very well.

I can't see anything waiting on the milestones for 5.6 or 6.0, but if there's something I can help with to get them out, please let me know.

@williamdes No I'm sorry it isn't. We do not distribute the code so I believe we are technically compliant with GPL-2.0, and or course we contribute back here what changes we make.

Okay, I am not sure how we should warn user about this. GPL is a contaminant licence.
All your project should be GPL, and when asked by your users you need to provide the source code.
That why I had to re-write this project as https://github.com/wdes/php-I18n-L10n

Does it need to be a closed source project ?

IANAL, and I do sympathise with where you are coming from. But we do not distribute our software. It runs on our servers alone and is not "licensed" to anyone. As such, there is no license that is in violation of the GPL. If the use of motranslator does make our code GPL, that's fine: because we do not release the software to the public in any way we are under no obligation to publish the source. And if for some reason that ever changed we would of course comply.
