This PR enables building assets directly in CI. However, it needs to be tested after merging because I can't test it myself, as I can't run workflows on my fork.
Additionally, should we remove all the built assets from git? I think we should, but I wanted to check with you before proceeding. If you agree, I'll remove them, and then this PR will be ready to merge.
