The PMR (Physiome Model Repository) is notoriously difficult to both deposit models and reuse them as parts of larger systems of models...
I know that OpenCOR enables users to play around with deposited models in the simulation environment, but I propose that we make it possible for users to place deposited models as modules in PhLynx and connect them. We need to make it easier for people to reuse and build on existing models.
Ideally, we would also work with Tommy so that we can make it simple for users to save their PhLynx outputs (and/or sessions) to PMR?
If we're smart about this, we could help facilitate tracking the provenance of the model by having PhLynx also store and update a knowledge graph in its backend.
Please feel free to shout me down if I'm doing the old scope creep again.
