0.9.3 retains the external-buzzer integration and applies final settings-page presentation cleanup. It removes the internal iDotMatrix buzzer hardware/timing backend and delegates optional sound playback to the standalone WLED Buzzer Usermod. The BLE protocol and all non-audio behavior remain aligned with stable 0.9.2.

RC3 corrects the DeviceName settings row to Device Name: IDM-, with IDM- as the fixed visible prefix and only the suffix editable by the user. No protocol, BLE, media, rendering, automation or external-buzzer behavior changes.

The iDotMatrix settings page exposes only Buzzer → Enable plus the orange Requires the WLED Buzzer Usermod. note. Without the external Usermod, the control remains disabled and the rest of iDotMatrix continues to operate normally.

Current sound mapping:

• Alarm with sound enabled → looping triple_beep;
• Program/Schedule sound flag → notification;
• natural Countdown completion → one triple_beep;
• BLE application connection → connect;
• BLE application disconnection → disconnect.

For sound support use WLED Buzzer Usermod release 0.1.0 / build final or newer. RC7 adds a 550 ms repeat-only trailing gap to triple_beep, so Alarm groups are separated while Countdown one-shot playback is unchanged.

Hardware validation before RC1 reported PASS with and without the optional Buzzer Usermod, including connection, disconnection, Countdown, Alarm, Program/Schedule, reboot/persistence and negative sound-policy checks.

RC2 presentation correction

RC2 changes only the Usermod Settings presentation on top of the hardware-qualified RC1 runtime. WLED-generated configuration-key text is relabeled in place, so internal keys are no longer duplicated before the intended labels. Protocol, BLE, rendering, media, automation and external-buzzer behavior are unchanged.

RC3 DeviceName correction

RC3 keeps the RC2 label de-duplication and fixes the DeviceName presentation to the intended form: Device Name: IDM- followed by the editable suffix. The stored/effective BLE name continues to be normalized with the fixed IDM- prefix. No other runtime behavior changes.

RC4 settings presentation

• Screen Type: replaces the compact ScreenType: label.
• Scale the logical profile to the selected WLED 2D segment: is positioned immediately below the Screen Type note.
• Device Name: IDM- remains unchanged from RC3.
• No runtime behavior changed.

The final 0.9.3 runtime was promoted directly from the hardware-qualified RC5 candidate; only the build identifier and stable-release documentation changed during final promotion.
