0.9.4-dev.5 removes the temporary Waveshare audio-diagnostic probe after the onboard audio path was verified on real hardware. Stable 0.9.3 remains the behavioral baseline and no BLE protocol, rendering, media, automation, settings or external-buzzer behavior is intentionally changed.

The dev.4 diagnostic confirmed ES8311 @ 0x18 and ES7210 @ 0x40 on the shared SDA 47 / SCL 48 bus. The working local AudioReactive configuration uses SD 39, WS 38, SCK 43, MCLK 12. Local processing works when UDP Sound Sync receive mode is disabled.

Hardware PASS on the Waveshare ESP32-S3-RGB-Matrix / one 64x64 HUB75 panel includes native 64x64 output, BLE reconnect, TEXT, static image, GIF, Carousel, reboot/persistence, Alarm/Program, Matrix Auto Rotation and onboard-microphone AudioReactive. Remaining items are 16x16 -> 64x64 scaling, 32x32 -> 64x64 scaling and a 30-60 minute media/audio soak.

The next development step after qualification is measurement-only PSRAM/cache telemetry. Larger 128x64/128x128 layouts remain deferred until matching hardware is available.
