Code Review
This pull request provides a good set of updates to the API overview documentation. The changes improve clarity, consistency, and maintainability by adding helpful links, using variables for versioning, correcting terminology like 'failover', and making the language more concise.
I've added a couple of minor suggestions to further enhance readability and word choice, in line with the repository's documentation style guide. Overall, these are positive improvements to the user-facing documentation.
