Opt-in message preview in mobile agent-activity notifications #13834

+1 for this on iOS as well. I use T3 Code on an iPhone 17 Pro running iOS 27.2 beta, with the latest available iOS app and a 0.0.45 desktop environment. Push notifications are now arriving, but they only show the thread title and status/project, not a preview of the assistant's reply. A short preview of the final assistant response would let me understand the result from the notification without opening the app every time. For input requests, showing the actual question would be useful too. An opt-in "Include message preview" setting sounds good, with the existing title/status-only behavior retained when it is off. Please include iOS push notifications in the scope of this feature. |

What I see
With "Publish agent activity" on, my phone (Android, T3 Connect, nightly server) gets notifications like:
The notification shows the thread title, the project, and the phase. It doesn't say what the agent finished or what it's asking. With several threads running, I have to open the app for every notification to find out whether it needs me.
Why
projectThreadAwarenessinpackages/shared/src/agentAwareness.tssends onlyprojectTitle, threadTitle, phase, headline, and a fixeddetail:"Review the completed task.""<provider> is active.""The agent run failed."bysanitizeRelayAgentActivityStatedetailis already capped at 160 characters on the way to the relay, so the payload has room for a short preview.Idea
Add an opt-in setting next to "Publish agent activity", for example "Include message preview", off by default. When it's on:
detail= the first ~160 characters of the last assistant messagedetail= the question the agent askeddetail= the command or file change awaiting approvalOff by default keeps today's privacy behaviour: nothing from the conversation leaves the machine unless the user asks for it. The mobile app would show
detailas the notification body. On Android I'd also expect an expandable (BigText) notification. Why it matters
The value of phone notifications is deciding from the lock screen whether to act now. "Done root" can't answer that. "Done: tests pass, PR #42 opened" or "Input: Should I delete the old migration?" can.
Happy to help test on Android.
