T3 Code already uses Live Activities on iOS and Live Updates on Android to show ongoing agent activity.
However, while an agent is running, the status is often just something generic like:
Working
This makes the feature much less useful than it could be.
If I look at the Live Update on my Android phone, I don't just want to know that the agent is technically still running. I want to know what it is currently doing without having to open T3 Code.
For example:
Editing PreviewPanel.tsx
Running Playwright tests
Building the project
Searching the codebase
Fixing TypeScript errors
Waiting for input
Ideally, the Live Activity / Live Update could show:
reacted with thumbs up emoji reacted with thumbs down emoji reacted with laugh emoji reacted with hooray emoji reacted with confused emoji reacted with heart emoji reacted with rocket emoji reacted with eyes emoji
Uh oh!

instead of simply:
Working
Why
The main value of these system-level live indicators is being able to monitor an ongoing task at a glance while doing something else.
A generic “Working” state tells me almost nothing.
If an agent has been running for several minutes, I currently cannot tell whether it is:
Showing the current visible agent/tool activity would make Live Activities and Live Updates dramatically more useful.
Privacy / implementation
This does not need to expose chain-of-thought or internal reasoning.
A short summary based on activity T3 already knows about should be enough:
If T3 already has a user-visible description of the current tool/activity inside the thread, ideally that same information could be reused here.
Optional information
It could also show:
The main request is simply:
Please make iOS Live Activities and Android Live Updates show what the agent is actually doing instead of only showing “Working”.
