On desktop and web, Claude's Reasoning picker includes Ultrathink and Ultracode. The mobile picker hides both, so neither can be chosen from a phone.
This is intentional in apps/mobile/src/features/threads/thread-settings-options.ts (from #6224):
selectableChoices() drops every value in the descriptor's promptInjectedValues, which removes Ultrathink.
HIDDEN_EFFORT_OPTION_IDS drops ultracode, with the note that it's "a workflow trigger, not a reasoning level".
A value set on desktop still displays and applies on mobile, but it can't be picked there. Kicking off a long Ultracode run is exactly the kind of thing I want to do from my phone, and right now that means going back to a computer to flip the setting first.
Proposal
Offer both in the mobile picker, the same way desktop does:
Ultracode: remove it from HIDDEN_EFFORT_OPTION_IDS. The server already handles it (ClaudeAdapter sends xhigh plus settings.ultracode: true), so no server change should be needed. Showing the description added in fix(web): describe what Ultracode does in the Reasoning picker #6092 would keep it clear that it starts workflows rather than just raising effort.
Ultrathink: stop filtering prompt-injected values, and on send apply applyClaudePromptEffortPrefix from @t3tools/shared/model, as web does in ChatView / sendQueuedMessage.
If the concern is picker clutter on a small screen, putting them at the end of the list or behind a "More" row would still be better than not being able to reach them at all.
Related: #14121 (faster reasoning control on mobile).
Workaround today: typing "ultrathink" in the message covers Ultrathink. For Ultracode, the only option I've found is setting it on the thread from desktop first.
