Problem / use case
In Settings → Keybindings → Add keybinding, the "Command" picker is a long scrolling list with no way to filter it. Finding one command means scrolling past every other one. The "Search keybindings" box at the top of the page filters the rows below, not this list.
Proposed behavior
Make the picker searchable. Typing "sea" narrows it to "Project Search: Toggle". Matching covers the command label and the command id, so
sidebar.togglefinds it as well as "Sidebar: Toggle".Working proof
No PR yet. A small working version is on my fork:
It swaps
Selectfor the existing sharedCombobox(the same pattern as the composer code-language picker) inNewKeybindingCommandSelect, and adds a small filter helper with a unit test. Three files, web only, no contract or server changes. The focused tests, typecheck, lint and format check pass, and I tried it in the web client. I have not tried it in the desktop app.Would you approve an XS PR with this scope?
