For real engineering use, arbitrary file attachment is baseline functionality. At minimum it needs to accept:

.md, .txt, .json, .toon
source files like .swift, .c, .cpp, .go, .rs, .js
logs and receipts
.zip, .tar.gz
PDFs
model manifests / metadata
basically any bounded file the agent needs to inspect, not just photos.
