[Bug]: Cursor Model selector not working

Steps to reproduce

1. Set up Cursor incl. login
2. Select Cursor model e.g. Gemini 3.1 Pro
3. Check which model was used under https://cursor.com/dashboard/usage

The only time it used the Gemini 3.1 Pro model was when I used the official Cursor app.

Here you can see the two latest requests for which I also did not get a response. (I got responses in other attempts):

I tried logging out and in again and restarting T3 Code. I am on T3C 0.0.24 and Cursor CLI v2026.05.16-0338208

Expected behavior

I see the disclaimer that Cursor is Early Access but did not find info if model selection is supposed to work or not.
I expect the selected model to be used.

Actual behavior

It seems to use auto because it uses different models.
