Power options

Accessing the camera

By default, CameraBrick can be accessed by connecting your smartphone to CameraBrick_XXXXXX network (without password).

After connecting to WiFi, launch your browser and navigate to http://fpv.local

Saving the web shortcut to your homescreen allows instant access to camera app and also allows fullscreen mode.

WiFi settings

Optionally, you can set WiFi network and password so CameraBrick can connect to your home network or to the smartphone's hotspot. However, connecting directly to the camera's access point features the best framerate and ping.

If you cannot access the camera app after changing network settings, you can restore the default settings (AP mode and fpv.local hostname) by flashing the firmware

Mould King remote control

Mould King remote control is activated when specific module type is selected in Settings. Every time the video playback is started, CameraBrick attempts to connect to the MK module, so the module needs to be powered on already.

Gamepad connection

Bluetooth connection between the gamepad and the smartphone need to be established before camera app is started. The red arrows icon indicates that the app cannot get gamepad data. After the gamepad data becomes available, the icon turns green. Most mobile browsers require the user to click gamepad's buttons or tap the screen several times before the app can start getting the data. Be careful not to tap the stop video button because gamepad connection is reset when video is not playing.
