Evaluate COinS plugin for retirement

Description:
The COinS plugin has historically been used to insert HTML into pages for use by reference tools like Zotero; however, many reference tools have other means of generating these citations, and the COinS standard seems to not be well supported (e.g. the website for it no longer works). Mendeley also no longer officially supports the standard.

Before retiring the plugin, we will need to confirm if Zotero can still work without the plugin enabled (e.g. using the same citation tags as Google Scholar or existing dublin core tags), and if not, what will be required to move to a different standard.
