"Extract JSX to Functional Component" no longer works

The lightbulb icon no longer appears when selecting JSX code, and when manually executing the "Extract JSX to Functional Component' action, the following error comes up:

I tried both reinstalling the extension and restarting VSCode, with no success.

I've got the same symptom:

'extension.react-refactor.extractToFunction' not found

I don't see that message but I can't get that function to work.
