Domestique v2.0.4
v2.0.4 — Planner safety + library injury cleanup (2026-06-15)
Two safety fixes — to how the plan is built, and to what's in the workout library —
plus workout names that finally tell the truth about the file.
What changes for users
- No more "VO2max every day." The planner now guarantees two limits from the
training-overload literature that previously weren't enforced end-to-end: a weekly
cap on hard (HIT) sessions, and a per-type ceiling on how long a single hard session
can run. A 2-hour weekday slot can no longer surface a 120-minute VO2max session, and
no week exceeds its hard-session budget — regardless of goal or shuffle. The other
guardrails (progressive ramp rate, recovery weeks, acute:chronic workload, 48-hour
spacing between hard days) were already in place; these were the two gaps. - 51 unsafe library workouts repaired. A content screen found a small dangerous
tail — corrupt power data (600% FTP ramps, 220% for 3 minutes), back-to-back max
efforts with no recovery, and inadequate rest. These were amended in place into safe,
functional workouts that keep their training intent (a sprint stays a sprint, just at
an achievable wattage). Ramp tests and FTP tests are left untouched — those are
legitimate maximal protocols, not hazards. - Workout names tell the truth. After a workout's structure was amended, its in-app
title, its in-file name/description, and its classification were all regenerated to
match what the workout actually does now.
