Search Query tool fails when using Local People Results

Using Search Query tool against our SharepointOnline Tenant

When doing against "normal" Document Results, everything is fine. When searching for Persons, I also receive the results. However, the "Title" is empty, and the buttons for "Managed Properties" and "Crawled proerty names" result in an error message and then the tool crashes:

This happens only when doing person search

Using current version 2.9 on Windows 10.

Not sure, as it works when I test. You can try to pull the code and rebuild, in case the minor commits made afterwards have an impact. You can also check fiddler and see what might be wrong on the query itself.

same here, in 2.8.8 it works without problem

Still an issue? And what does the RAW tab show? And the {Title} is expected and you can do Tools->Options to change which prop is used as the Title line in the results.

Well, Title is alright now, but the error-Message is still here.

However found something out:
If I give a value for "Select Properties" it works (the click on "Managed Properties" and "Crawled Properties").
If I leave the field empty, I also get search results. But clicking on the 2 links on each result results in the error Message ("Invalid URI, URI is empty") and the crash of the whole application.

@LeopoldLerch I'll put out a 2.9.1 release soon.. the current code seems not to have the issue. You can pull it and build yourself in the mean time.

Version 2.9 and before:

Managed Properties and Crawled Properties for People only worked for me if I use the "MySite" url and the Tenant ID in the connection settings:

SharePoint Site URL: https://tenant-my.sharepoint.com/
Tenant Id: enter GUID here

Version 2.10:
its working with the regular Sharepoint URL without tenant ID now
